From June 14th to 17th, the 7th VIVATECH Technology Innovation Exhibition was held at the Paris Versailles Exhibition Center in France. As the largest technology innovation exhibition in Europe, this year saw participation from 2,400 companies from 174 countries.

In the Hall1G18 exhibition area, Cainiao International Express and Artificial Intelligence “Black Tech” made a group appearance. Self-developed unmanned driving robot Little Mule, B2B loop box embedded with RFID tags (Radio Frequency Identification), RFID tag readers, RFID warehouse management systems, handheld gunsLemo within the warehouse, and other exhibits made their first appearance to European audiences.

As one of the important business sectors under Cainiao, Cainiao Logistics Technology has accumulated rich products and cases in automation, digitization, and intelligence, focusing on digital supply chains, the Internet of Things (IoT), and automation solutions.

Among them, there are already over 300complex comprehensive automation cases implemented. These projects are not only in China but also overseas. Advanced logistics technology from China has brought new changes to logistics, including in Europe.

For example, Cainiao’s largest smart logistics hub in Europe - eHub in Liege, Belgium, pioneered the use of LemoPDA, RFID, and other technologies, greatly improving warehouse operation efficiency. Through RFID technology, RFID handheld devices can quickly inventory goods in less than half an hour, greatly improving inventory efficiency and reducing error rates. It is worth mentioning that Cainiao-led RFID electronic tags have already shipped over 100 million units, ranking first among logistics companies.

Furthermore, in recent years, Cainiao has continued to invest in smart logistics infrastructure in Europe. Cainiao operates automated distribution centers in 8 countries including Belgium, France, Spain, and Italy. With the support of Cainiao’s self-developed overseas distribution system (GXMS), sorting efficiency has more than doubled.

Relying on mature products and solutions, rich landing cases, and global supply chain capabilities, Cainiao Logistics Technology has listed “going global” as one of its business directions. In just a short period of time, Cainiao Logistics Technology has successfully helped many overseas companies such as Daraz and Flash Express achieve digital upgrades in sorting and warehousing. The intelligent distribution center created by Cainiao in Pakistan has increased Daraz’s courier sorting efficiency by more than 4 times, and human errors have been reduced by more than 90%. The head of Cainiao’s international exhibition area said, “Relying on years of accumulated smart logistics capabilities, Cainiao will explore cooperation opportunities in logistics technology with overseas local logistics partners and merchants through Viva Tech.
