Cainiao Logistics Technology makes further strides in global expansion. Recently, Cainiao signed a cooperation agreement with B2B cross-border trade distributor Spotter. Leveraging its leading edge in digital supply chain, Cainiao will provide Spotter with a new generation intelligent warehouse management system, helping to establish a standardized and efficient warehouse management system for overseas warehouses, and jointly supporting Chinese brands in going global. This achievement follows Cainiao’s technological cooperation with enterprises such as Daraz and Flash Express, marking another milestone in Cainiao Logistics Technology’s global expansion.

Spotter, focusing on the European and American markets, is a B2B cross-border trade distributor. As a pioneer in the self-operated ecology of channels such as Amazon and Walmart, Spotter has established strategic partnerships with many well-known brand sellers such as Laifen and Hellobaby, empowering brand sellers with digital capabilities to precisely expand overseas channels and accelerate brand globalization. In 2021, Spotter officially established its brand in California, USA, with its global headquarters located in Chongqing, and possesses a supply chain system in North America.

It is reported that the WMS (Warehouse Management System) project collaborated between Cainiao and Spotter has been initiated. This project, based on Cainiao’s self-developed WMS system, covers all business processes of Spotter’s self-operated warehouse management and is deeply integrated with OMS (Order Management System), MDM (Master Data Management System), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning System), and BI (Business Intelligence System), ensuring closed-loop management of warehouse business processes.

Shen Weifeng, Head of Cainiao Group’s Logistics Technology Division’s Digital Supply Chain, introduced to reporters that Cainiao’s WMS software incorporates over ten years of experience in warehouse management, operation, and practical experience, combined with advanced technology capabilities such as modularization, low-code, and algorithms, forming an intelligent, standardized, and digital warehouse management system. After the WMS system goes live, it will provide Spotter’s overseas warehouses with a standardized and efficient warehouse management system, ensuring the accuracy and real-time nature of system information, thereby standardizing business processes, improving operational efficiency, enhancing inventory accuracy, reducing product damage rates, and achieving full traceability across the entire chain.
