Recently, the World Computing Conference, jointly hosted by the Hunan Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, was held in Changsha. Products of digital technology from companies such as Cainiao, Baidu, and Lenovo were selected as outstanding achievements in the special exhibition of the conference. Among them, Cainiao is the only logistics enterprise selected, and its “Supply Chain Intelligent Plan” product combines operations with AI to reduce logistics costs for enterprises and play an important role in promoting the digitization of the supply chain.

Cainiao Supply Chain Intelligent Plan products selected as excellent achievements in the World Computing Conference special exhibition.
The World Computing Conference, originally named the World Computer Conference, is the first world-class industry conference in the field of computing approved by the State Council. It has been held four times since 2019. The “Supply Chain Intelligent Plan” created by Cainiao was selected as an excellent achievement in the special exhibition of digital supply chain innovation and technology at this conference.
This product is a universal application system developed by Cainiao Logistics Technology to address common pain points in supply chain operations in industries such as fast-moving consumer goods, manufacturing, and electronics. The product incorporates capabilities such as data, algorithms, processes, and visualization, and is dedicated to solving the two core issues of improving fulfillment rates and reducing inventory costs in the supply chain field. By combining operations research with AI, Cainiao's “Supply Chain Intelligent Plan” can optimize end-to-end supply chain operations for industries such as retail, manufacturing, fresh produce, electronics, etc., including daily operations, anomaly diagnosis, and optimal decision-making.
“With the intensification of market competition, companies are paying more and more attention to supply chain management. The core of supply chain management lies in planning and coordinating resources and relationships among supply chain members and within their own organizations. However, traditional methods of planning suffer from problems such as reliance on manual labor, low efficiency, inaccuracy, and difficulty in collaboration”, said Wang Zihao, Director of Algorithm at Cainiao Logistics Technology, during his speech at the conference. Cainiao's “Intelligent Supply Chain Plan” aims to upgrade supply chain management from “having a plan or not” to “having a good plan” by providing functions such as demand planning based on sales forecasts, inventory planning based on global optimization, replenishment planning based on intelligent allocation, and production planning and scheduling based on operational optimization.
