From May 15th to 18th, Cainiao Logistics Technology and local partner Codetrace jointly appeared at the Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Industrial Automation and Technology Exhibition (METALTECH & AUTOMEX), and showcased self-developed technology products such as pallet four-way shuttle trolleys on site.

Codetrace is a Southeast Asian company specializing in machine vision and intelligent warehouse solutions, providing complete warehousing automation solutions for industries such as electrical, electronic, semiconductor, automotive, food, and consumer goods. Currently, many globally renowned companies such as Nestle and Vinda have partnered with Codetrace.

In April of this year, Codetrace officially became a partner of Cainiao Logistics Technology. Currently, Codetrace is enhancing its own solution capabilities and better serving local enterprises in Southeast Asia through deep cooperation with Cainiao in logistics technology products such as automation, digital supply chain, and Internet of Things.

Driven by the development of e-commerce and technological progress, the trend of digitization, automation, and intelligence in logistics is becoming increasingly evident in Southeast Asia through the use of emerging technologies. Drawing on China's logistics technology and logistics experience has become the choice of many Southeast Asian companies.

Southeast Asia has always been one of the main regions for Cainiao Logistics Technology to go overseas. Two years ago, Cainiao completed the largest automated warehousing system in Southeast Asia for a leading express delivery company in Thailand, which once caused a heated discussion in the industry. Cainiao’s self-developed four-way shuttle trolley for pallets, which made its debut at METALTECH & AUTOMEX, has also attracted the attention of many local companies.

As a new generation of intelligent handling equipment for tray-based intensive storage solutions, Cainiao's self-developed four-way shuttle can not only move in all directions in the warehouse, automatically moving goods to any position on the shelves, but also has industry-leading product performance.

The product has a maximum load of 1500kg and uses a mechanical lifting mechanism. It not only requires no maintenance for 200,000 times, but also has the ability to quickly charge and continue working. It can work for 4 hours after charging for 12 minutes. In terms of system, it supports multi-vehicle on the same level, coordinated layer switching, and full access to vehicles throughout the field.

Meanwhile, the self-developed four-way shuttle of Cainiao has also demonstrated advantages in helping related companies reduce costs, improve quality and increase efficiency. This product can not only significantly reduce the investment threshold of pallet AS/RS, but also effectively improve the throughput efficiency of dense storage solutions. Combined with AGV automatic handling robot products, it can also realize “up storage and down picking” and create a new mode of “storage and picking integration” for pallet warehousing automation.
